Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was very attentive and friendly. However, the dining experience had some issues with demand during peak times. The location was beautiful and historical. Overall, a great spot for a getaway.
I stayed at this hotel, and I have to say it was quite a mixed experience. The rooms were not of the standard we expected, but the one I was placed in was impeccable. The service was top-notch, and all in all, it was the best place I've stayed at in England. The location was lovely and peaceful, but the area around the hotel was not well lit at night so you can't take an evening stroll. The dining experience was good, with lovely food in the restaurant, although I wouldn't say it was worth the price. Overall, it was a memorable stay with some ups and downs.
The hotel offers a spacious honeymoon suite with a lovely bath, although it tends to get very hot even with the windows open. The staff were pleasant and helpful, but there were disturbances at night. The location is serene and stunning with beautiful surroundings, yet not well-lit for evening walks. The dining experience was a mix of outstanding dishes, but with some issues like over-seasoned mushrooms. Facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
